Confidentiality

In accordance of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) ethical standards, strict confidentiality is maintained. Information which is disclosed in a session will normally be confidential unless the client gives permission for contact to be established with his/her GP, etc. However, there are limits to confidentiality that pertain to harm to oneself and others and this will be discussed the initial meeting.
